Kip Creel
Kip Creel is the president and founder of StandPoint and has chief responsibility for business development, methodology and the firm’s strategic planning practice.
Prior to founding StandPoint in 2002, Kip spent 8 years at another Atlanta-based market research firm in positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Research and Vice President.
Previously, Kip worked for Medco Containment Services, a Division of Merck Pharmaceuticals, as a call center analyst, and for InfoQuest Clinical Network, a clinical research organization, in a business development role. Kip began his career at BellSouth.
Kip is a frequent speaker at industry events including healthcare and home & garden and regularly writes articles and authors research reports.
Kip holds a bachelor’s of arts in organizational behavior and statistics and a master of business administration in marketing, both from the University of Florida.
Erik Stephansson
Erik Stephansson is a project director at StandPoint and is responsible for client relationships, account strategy, and project management. Erik has extensive experience with project management for healthcare clients including pharmaceutical companies, healthcare IT providers, and device manufacturers.
Prior to joining StandPoint in 2004, Erik spent 2 years at the Institute for Behavioral Research at the University of Georgia where he was responsible for data collection and analysis for a longitudinal quantitative research study funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Erik holds a bachelor’s of arts in sociology from the University of Georgia and a master’s of business administration from Georgia State University.
Theresa Cornett
Theresa Cornett is a project manager at StandPoint and is responsible for the design and execution of primary research studies and reports.
Prior to joining StandPoint in 2010, Theresa spent seven years at GameStop where she was responsible for all aspects of daily operation including sales and customer service, marketing, staffing, and training. In addition, Theresa has spent time as a Research Assistant at Georgia Tech Research Institute evaluating work flow and with Sony Electronics.
Theresa holds a bachelor’s of business administration in marketing from Emory University and a master’s in business administration from Georgia Institute of Technology.
