How is StandPoint different from other market research firms?
StandPoint approaches market research differently than some firms. To us, research is the tool, not the end result. We first define and understand the business objectives of our clients, before designing the research. We put a great deal of time, thought and detail into our proposals. Do you only do projects based in the United States?
No, we pride ourselves on our international experience and capabilities. We understand the additional complexity that is involved with international research and we have our own internal resource as well as a network of vendors and partners around the globe.
How long does a market research project take?
We pride ourselves on working fast without compromising quality. For a domestic project, this process usually takes from 4 – 6 weeks. For an international project, an additional 3-5 weeks should be planned. These times are only guidelines and multi-faceted qualitative and quantitative projects can take months of planning and execution. The complexity of the assignment is what determines the final timeline.
How much does a market research project cost?

Data is of course, included in the report, but we also devote space to summarizing the findings and presenting recommendations based on our industry knowledge and the particular circumstance of your company.
Do you sell a methodology?
We do not sell a methodology. But we will recommend the right methodology based on the decisions to be made, the business imperatives, where the client may be in their product development cycle, and other factors. We always determine what is the best format to facilitate dialogue with the research participants based on the client’s business needs, budget, and timing constraints.
What is your research philosophy?
When working with clients, our first priority is to understand the business imperatives and the key decisions that the research will support. The research objectives and information needs will emanate from that.
